Unlike single-pair converters, this tool doesn't care what container your video arrived in - MP4, MOV from an iPhone, MKV from a screen recorder, WebM from a browser tool all work. Upload the file, pick your audio format, and the soundtrack comes out the other side as its own standalone file.
That flexibility matters because audio worth extracting shows up in every format: the interview recorded on a phone, the webinar someone exported as MKV, the concert clip a friend sent, the lecture you screen-captured. One tool covers the lot, without you having to identify the container first.
MP3 or WAV: match the output to the destination
The right output format follows from where the audio is going. Headed to your phone, a playlist, a chat, or long-term storage? Choose MP3 - small, universal, indistinguishable from the source in normal listening. Headed into an audio editor, a DAW, or any production pipeline? Choose WAV, so your edits don't stack compression on top of compression.
If you're not sure, MP3 is the sensible default: you can always re-run the extraction and pick WAV later, since the tool is free and has no usage cap.

Which video formats can I extract audio from?
The common ones all work: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and more. If a regular video player can open it, the extractor can almost certainly pull the audio out of it.
Does the extracted audio sound worse than in the video?
No - at a high MP3 bitrate, or as WAV, the extracted track sounds the same as it did inside the video. What extraction can't do is improve a recording that was poor to begin with.
Can I process a long webinar or lecture recording?
Yes - length isn't a problem, it just means a longer upload. One file per run, no cost, no daily cap; a stable connection is the only practical requirement for big files.
What happens to the video I upload?
It's processed temporarily and deleted automatically once your audio file is ready; the download link expires shortly afterwards too. Nothing you upload stays on our servers.
Can I do this from my phone?
