A board is not a backup
Saving to a board keeps a pointer, not the video: it still needs a connection, and it dies the day the pin is deleted or the account disappears. For content you'll actually use - the recipe cooked in a kitchen with no signal, the workout followed at the gym, the tutorial that belongs in a project folder - the MP4 on your device is the version that keeps working.
Getting it takes three moves: open the video pin and copy its link (address bar on the web, the three-dot menu and Copy link in the app), paste it above, download. Works with regular video pins and idea pins that contain video, from any browser, with no Pinterest account involved.
Pin by pin, public pins only
Two deliberate limits define this tool. It processes one pin link at a time - there is no board export or bulk download, so five videos from a board means five links pasted in sequence. And it reaches only public pins: secret boards and anything visible only when you're logged in stay out of reach, because the tool never signs in as anyone.
One more thing worth a glance before downloading: most pins are re-pins, so the board you found a video on rarely belongs to its creator. Saving for private offline use is what this page is for, when the creator allows it; using someone's video in your own content or shop without permission is infringement regardless of how many boards it crossed to reach you.

Can I download a whole board at once?
No - one pin link per run, stated up front. A board's worth of videos means pasting each pin's link in turn; free and uncapped, it's a couple of minutes rather than one click.
Do idea pins with video work?
Yes - both regular video pins and idea pins containing video. If an idea pin has several segments, run the link and check what you get: the structure of the pin determines the output.
Can I save pins from my secret boards?
No - the tool never logs in, so it only reaches publicly visible pins. Anything that requires your session to see, including your own secret boards, is out of its reach by design.
What format and quality does the download have?
A standard MP4 at the quality Pinterest serves for that pin, with no watermark added. It plays in any video app and drops into editors and presentations without conversion.
Is my activity or file stored on your servers?
