Download Reddit videos
Copy the link to a Reddit post containing a video, paste it above and download the MP4. Only public posts are supported. Only download content you are authorized to use.
Files are processed temporarily and deleted automatically. We keep no permanent copies.
How it works
- Paste a link.
- Choose the format and quality.
- Convert and download the result.
The silent-clip problem, and why this tool exists
Reddit stores its videos in two pieces - the picture in one stream, the sound in another - and stitches them together live in the player. Grab "the video file" by right-clicking and you get exactly half the experience: sharp image, total silence. It's the single most common complaint about saving Reddit videos.
This tool's job is the missing step: paste the link to the post (not the media file), and it fetches both streams and merges them into one MP4 with the audio built in. The result plays with sound in any app, on any device, with nothing left to fix.
What's inside the tool's reach - and what isn't
The tool covers media in public posts, which is most of Reddit. Outside its reach, and worth knowing before you try: private and restricted communities (if membership is required to see the post, the tool can't see it either), quarantined or removed content, and posts that merely embed a video from another platform - for those, copy the original platform's link and use the matching downloader instead.
It's one post link per run, processed on our servers just long enough to merge and deliver; files are deleted automatically afterwards and download links expire. For clips of ordinary people, apply the obvious judgment: save for yourself what's public and harmless, and leave sensitive moments where they were posted.

FAQ
Why do Reddit videos I save elsewhere have no sound?
Because Reddit serves picture and audio as separate streams, and most quick methods grab only the picture. This tool fetches both and merges them, which is the whole reason to use it.
Which link should I paste - the post or the video?
The post's link - the reddit.com URL you see while viewing it, or what Share gives you. The tool needs the post to locate both streams; a raw v.redd.it media URL is exactly the half-file trap to avoid.
Does it work with private or quarantined subreddits?
No - the tool sees only what a logged-out visitor sees. Private, restricted and quarantined communities require access it doesn't have and won't request; that boundary is intentional.
Can I keep just the audio of a Reddit video?
Download the merged MP4 first, then run it through our audio extractor to get an MP3 or WAV. Two steps, and you end up with both the full video and a pocket-sized audio version.
Is anything kept after my download?
No - the merge happens on our servers, the file is deleted automatically after delivery, and the download link expires on its own. Re-running an expired link takes seconds and costs nothing.
